The Department of Law Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be university) (off Campus) New Delhi has organized an event under the flagship of the Director, Hon'ble Dr. Yamini Agarwal, 'VIKSHIT BHARAT 2047', which embarked on a journey towards a developed India by the year 2047, marking 100 years of our independence. Its purpose was to emphasize and provide critical insight to students & other audiences into India's economic progress, social development, environmental sustainability, and other factors required for a developed nation.

In a quest to foster international collaboration and cultivate cross-cultural learning experiences, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) in Pune has initiated a Student Exchange Program in collaboration with the University of South-Eastern Norway. The program, set to unfold from April 11th to May 9th, 2024, aims to facilitate academic and cultural exchanges between the two esteemed institutions. Spearheaded of Prof. Dr. Kirti Mahajan, Director of the Office of International Affairs at BV(DU), and with the enthusiastic support of Dr. Bhagyashree Jogdeo, Principal of the College of Nursing, Pune, along with Dr. Veena Sakhardande, Associate Professor, and other dedicated staff members, this initiative underscores the commitment of both universities to providing enriching educational opportunities for their students. Embarking on this journey are four postgraduate students from the University of South-Eastern Norway—Ms. Linn Eirin Angelsen, Ms. Marita Porsmyr Ørpen, Ms. Stine Myrvold, and Ms. Martine Kristin Topaas Billington—who have arrived in Pune. Their visit encompasses immersive experiences at the Office of International Affairs and the College of Nursing, Pune, where they will undergo clinical postings across various departments of Bharati Hospital and Research Centre, as well as government hospitals in Pune.

This three-day event, held on campus, showcases an abundance of events and activities aimed at embracing a sense of community and artistic expression among students. Abhinay's charm lies in its dynamic themes, diverse performances, and the vibrant energy it brings to the campus each year. BV(DU) - Institute of Management & Research (BVIMR) held a MARATHON 2024-Run for Cyber Crime Awareness on March 30th, beginning at 7.00 a.m. and lasting 3.5 kilometers, under the direction of Hon'ble Director, Dr. Yamini Agarwal. Winners received awards. Three key dignitaries graced the award ceremony: 1-Mr. Akshay Rastogi, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Branch, Delhi Police. 2. Mr. Mohit Verma, IT Content Producer & Social Influencer. 3- Mr. Yash Gupta, the Decathlon play project manager. Out of 200 participants, the first 20 marathon finishers were recognized.

The Department of Students’ Welfare in association with Educure School Health, Mumbai and Merck, the global leader in vaccination, organised a Webinar on ‘Awareness of Cervical Cancer and the Importance of HPV Vaccination’ for all students at different constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) during the period of 15th March to 2nd April 2024.

BV (DU) has sign MoU with School of Ayurveda and Conscience, France with the objectives of Cooperation in the field of Ayurveda & Yoga and Student exchange program on 1st June 2023 for a period of two years. Ms. Joyce Villaume from School of Ayurveda and Consciences, France visited BV(DU)’s Office of International Affairs on 1st April 2024. A fruitful discussion happened in between them about new projects - Yoga eLearning, Ayurveda Internship and Panchkarma.

The Department of Law atBV(D U) - Institute of Management & Research (BVIMR) organised on March 29, 2024, a tribute event to Legal Luminary, Eminent Jurist & Senior Advocate ‘Padma Vibhushan Mr. Fali Sam Nariman’ (1929-2024), the Guardian of Constitutional Democracy & Secular India. Under the guidance Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, this event was arranged to honor & express thanks for the inspiring life, and contributions by Mr Fali S. Nariman & be motivated by the Law students to pursue a brilliant career in the field of law. The event began with a guest reception, followed by the presentation of a documentary including Hon’ble Nariman's achievements, and interviews. Law students staged a play based on the life of Hon'ble Fali S Nariman, also. In her introductory remarks, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal provided the outline & landmark cases handled by Hon Fali S. Nariman, as well as how he was a strong champion of secular India and a custodian of the Constitution.

BVIMR's EdMantics Cell proudly hosted Avsar 7.0 - A captivating blend of B-plan brilliance and mentorship magic on March 21, 2024. The event initiated with a symbolic lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and new beginnings. Dr. Yamini Agrawal addressed the audience on the significance of human endeavors to benefit the well-being of others. Mr. Vyom Bhardwaj shared his invaluable insights on the intersection of technology and business, emphasizing the importance of patience, perseverance, and persistence. Mr. Sonal Sehgal, hailed as a marketing luminary, enlightened us with her journey and the essence of impactful leadership in the marketing realm. All participants were honoured with participation certificates, acknowledging their dedication and entrepreneurial spirit.

BV(DU)New Law College, Pune hosted its flagship event Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights from March 21, 2024, to March 23, 2024. It is not a mere academic exercise, it is a platform for participants to channel their passion for justice into actionable advocacy, driving positive change in society. Starting with the first day of the competition commenced with the inaugural ceremony which was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice S. Thurairaja, Judge of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and Hon’ble Mr. Justice A.R. Masoodi, Judge of the High Court of Allahabad Lucknow Bench. Prof. Dr Vivek Saoji, Vice Chancellor, BVDU and Shri G. Jayakumar, Registrar, BVDU also graced the inaugural ceremony.

BVIMR, New Delhi, hosted a remarkable ‘World Forestry Day’ event on March 20, 2024. Dr. AK Srivastava, HOD - MBA, Dr. Parul Agrawal, HOD - BBA, and Dr. Neetu Jain and Ms. Swati Rohatgi, faculty coordinators, welcomed and felicitated our chief guests, Dr. Manisha Saini, CEO of the NGO Hara Jeevan, and Mr. Avneesh, interning with the NGO. BV(DU) New Law College Pune S.A.R.A.L.L. (Society for Advance Research and Analysis of Labour Laws) organised visit at Labour Commissioner office Shivaji Nagar on Tuesday, 22nd Feb 2024. The Labour Commissioner's Office serves as a governmental body responsible for regulating and enforcing labour laws, promoting harmonious industrial relations, and safeguarding the rights and interests of workers and employers. During the visit, we had the opportunity to meet with officials and staff members of the Labour Commissioner's Office. Mr Shailendra Pol, Add'l Labour Commissioner, Govt. of Maharashtra addressed various aspects of labour laws and provided comprehensive information about the office's functions and activities.

BV(DU) New Law College, Pune Society for Advanced Research and Analysis of Labour Laws [ S.A.R.A.L.L.] organized a visit to the Labour Court at Swargate, Pune on Tuesday, 26th February 2024. The purpose of the visit was to gain insight into the functioning of the court system specifically related to labor disputes and employment-related legal matters. During the visit, we observed several hearings and proceedings, which provided valuable insights into the workings of the Labour Court. The courtrooms were organized and conducive to legal proceedings, with designated areas for the presiding judge, legal representatives, and parties involved in the cases. Adv. Tapaswi, Practicing Advocate Labour Court guided the student to understand the role of the court in dispensing justice.

The SPIRIT Team from BVDU recently took part in the International ISBR Business School Conference & the SPIRIT Project Erasmus+ training program in Bangalore from February 29 to March 5, 2024. Representatives from various European and Asian countries attended the conference, focusing on global innovations, sustainable practices, and emerging trends in academia and research. Led by project head Prof. Dr. Kirti Mahajan, along with Dr. Sneha Katke, Dr. Sachin Shetti, Dr. Prashant Naik, and two students from the School of Physiotherapy, Sangli, Siddharth Khadilkar & Diya Bhadavankar, the BVDU team's active participation further bolstered international collaborations promoting a healthier society.

BV(DU) New Law College Pune, Environment Cell organized Industrial Visit on 24.02.2024 to Cotton King Factory, Baramati, Pune to study the practical implications of labor laws and environmental laws and steps taken for sustainable development by way of solar energy and water conservation plants and thereafter a visit to backwater of Ujani Dam to have a study on the ecological balance maintained and to witness the migrating Flamingo Birds at Bhigwan Bird Century. This immersive journey was crafted to delve deeply into the intricacies of environmental stewardship, labour regulations, and the delicate balance between industrial progress and ecological conservation. A Reel-Making Competition around the theme: Inspiring Change? Making a difference, managing influence, and navigating change online was organised. The competition was held with enthusiasm and creativity by students.

BV (DU) New Law College, Pune organised a Guest Lecture on the DNA of a CBI Investigator on 7th Feb 2024. This program was conducted under the guidance of Dr.Ujwala Bendale, Dean and I/C Principal, BVDU New Law College Pune, Dr. Jyoti Dharm, Vice-Principal and Dr. Vidya Dhere, IQAC Coordinator. The resource person Hon'ble Mr. Shantonu Sen, Former Joint Director of CBI. The event commenced with an enlightening interactive session by guiding the upcoming lawyers. He shared his experience of being a CBI Investigator, investigating crimes of a serious nature that have national and international ramifications. The lecture was aimed at spreading awareness among students. The students were provided a great learning experience. The event was Coordinated by Mr. Rajesh Karanjkar Assistant Professor and Ms. Niha Khan Asst. Professor, BVDU New Law College, Pune.

BVIMR organised a workshop under the flagship the Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, and members of the Social and Eco Club, led by Dr. Seema Chaudhary, in collaboration with the DATRI Blood Stem Cell Donors Registry. The workshop's goal was to increase the number of potential volunteer blood stem cell donors in the registry. This increases the likelihood of obtaining a matching donor for each patient in need. Mr. Yogesh Malhotra (Senior Manager) spoke about blood donation and their goal and objectives. 47 students enrolled to donate blood stem cells.

Distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Hon. Mr. Abhijeet Kunte, Indian Chess Player & Chess Grand Master of India, and Guest of Honor Hon. Mr. Mandar Tamhane, CEO Northeast United FC, graced the occasion. The event also witnessed the presence of eminent personalities such as Hon. Dr. Asmita Jagtap, Executive Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Health Sciences; Hon. Dr. Vivek Saoji, Vice Chancellor, BVDU; Shri. We are delighted to share that the event was successful which is attributed to the insightful contributions of our Guest Speaker Ms. Aashna Jain, whose expertise as a Legal Career Coach enriched our students with valuable insights into navigating the world of internships and placements successfully. The thoughtfully planned dual sessions tailored to specific academic years, limited seating, and the provision of E-certificates for participation showcased meticulous organization, fostering an engaging and exclusive atmosphere.

Under the guidance of Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, BVIMR hosted a 'Stress Management Program' in collaboration with YOG DHARA to provide students with tools to properly manage stress and understand the importance of inner peace. The program included music, dance, and cultural performances, as well as meditation. Ms. Neha Verma captivated the audience with an Odissi dance that depicted the dual character of the Mother Goddess Durga - ATI SAUMYA ATI RAUDRA, highlighting both her compassionate and violent qualities. Mr. Rahul Mohan Gupta, Director of Operations for a multinational firm, and team members who practice Sahaja Yoga. Mr. Rahul Mohan Gupta simplified Sahaja Yogao as a meditation practice that awakens the Kundalini, leading to a spiritually enlightened personality. The workshop comprised interactive sessions, case studies, and mock moot court exercises. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Ujwala Bendale, Dean & I/C Principal, Dr. Jyoti Dharm, Vice Principal, and Dr. Vidya Dhere, IQAC Coordinator and Sports & Cultural Director, the workshop featured eloquent guest speakers Ad. Chaitanya Marne and Adv. Madhusudan Lahoti. BVIMR celebrated an Army Day Event on 15/01/2024 under the flagship of Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal with patriotic fervor. A Poster Making Competition was organized and Winners were awarded certificates and Prizes. BVIMR hosted the ‘Annual Sports Meet’, with the theme Khelega India to Jeetega India from 11th to 13th January 2024. Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, the Director of BVIMR, played a pivotal role in the opening ceremony, setting a captivating tone for the festivities. The ceremony was graced by distinguished chief guests, Mr. Harsh Gill, a five-time national unbeaten winner in boxing and Mr. Harsh Sorut, an accomplished shooter in 50m and 25m air pistol events. To raise awareness of Cancer a special session with physicians from the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute was organized under the guidance & support of the Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, on 5th January 2024. Dr. Rajat Saha (MBBS, MD,DNB) highlighted the cancers induced by tobacco usage. Dr. Anjali Pahuja (MBBA, MD) spoke about cancers that affect women, such as cervical cancer and breast cancer, as well as the significance of raising awareness about them among males. The session was successfully coordinated by members of the Social and Eco Club, led by faculty Dr. Seema Chaudhary.

BV(DU) Institute of Management and Research BVIMR: A poster-making competition to commemorate "International Volunteer's Day for Social and Economic Development" held on Dec 29th, 2023, with the inspiration and guidance of Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal. The competition included a diverse range of artistic expressions. Warm, inviting colours and inclusive imagery were used to highlight volunteer and community unity. Large fonts and motivational quotes enhanced communication while addressing issues such as community empowerment, global collaboration, and economic growth. The object of the course was honing the employability skills of students through “new workplace-relevant training and mentoring”. The course focused on skill building and active participation from the participants throughout the sessions. Srivastav greeted and welcomed the speaker. Dr. Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, a well-known practitioner, guided the attendees on heart care. Plank it up, Pump it up, Squat War, Healthy Heart Recipe, and Track Your Fitness were among the many heart-pumping competitions held. The goal of health and fitness promotion is to educate, motivate, and empower individuals to adopt healthy habits, engage in regular physical activity, choose nutritious foods, effectively manage stress, and prioritise self-care. It aims to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being in order to improve one's quality of life. These competitions not only raised awareness about heart health but also fostered a sense of community among participants.

On Oct 11 2023, the New Law College, Pune, Placement Cell, in collaboration with Jurisedge, conducted a placement training program 3 Growth Hacks (Secrets to unlock a successful legal career) by Mr. Sudipta Bhowmick Founder & CEO Jurisedge, a renowned legal professional. The program was targeted at students of all years and backgrounds, including B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., LL.B., and LL.M. around total 300 students. It was designed to provide students with insights into the corporate world and how to prepare for a successful legal career. The program commenced at 2:30 PM and concluded at 5:30 PM. In a bid to empower the engineers of tomorrow, BV(DU)'s Department of Students' Welfare, in collaboration with x-Enabler Technologies, Australia, organized a 'Knowledge Delivery Session' at BV(DU) College of Engineering, Pune. The event commenced with an enlightening global connection, featuring an interactive online session led by Mr. Prashant Gami, CEO of x-Enabler Technologies, Australia. Mr. Gami's discourse focused on "How to Get Hired Without Experience," emphasizing the critical role of non-technical and interpersonal skills in securing employment. The session then transitioned to a captivating presentation by Mr. Prateek Bhatnagar, a BV(DU) COE alumnus and x-Enabler Technologies employee, who delved into "Modern Software Architecture" with real-world case studies. BV(DU) organized a 'Cyber Crime Jagrookta Divas' under the guidance & support of the Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, on October 6, 2023. The event featured esteemed guests, Mr. Rushi Mehta and Mr. Davinder Kumar. Mr. Rushi Mehta, a Cyber Security Professional currently working as a Senior Cyber Consultant to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, led an interactive session with the students. He delved into the topic of hacking on various social media platforms and shed light on India's cyber security agencies, which proved to be highly informative. He also uncovered 'Cyber dost - An Awareness Initiative,' a platform where users can access cyber safety content.

BV(DU) New Law College Pune Organised Model United Nation (MUN) on 25th to 26th of September 2023. The MUN competition brought together a diverse group of 300 delegates creating a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment for discourse on global issues. It spanned for 2 days and included 4 committees. The competition witnessed active participation and enthusiastic engagement from all delegates. Mr. Gokul Pandian, Director - EY (ESG, Climate Change), and Ms.Yeshika Malik (Climate Change Specialist, World Bank Group) were invited as the "Guest of Honour" in the inaugural session, where they shared their valuable insight, vision, and experience in a very interactive discussion with our students on topics such as green energy, decarbonization, sustainable business ideas, and each of our contributions to bring change in this world.

Through their powerful storytelling and impeccable acting, ‘Swaang’ depicted the challenges and triumphs of individuals working tirelessly to promote cleanliness and hygiene in their communities. The audience was deeply moved by the performance, which served as a poignant reminder of the importance of actively participating in the ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’ and contributing to a cleaner and healthier India.

Organized an event on Meri Maati Mera Desh as per the instruction of the central government by doing अमृत कलश यात्रा in the college campus on 21/09/2023 This initiative was conceived and coordinated by Dr. Ujwala Bendale, the Dean and I/C Principal of New Law College, Pune, and Dr. Jyoti S. The Social and Eco Club works together with Kalakriti- BVIMR's Art and Creative Society. The event's subject was "SWACHH BHARAT" and it was brilliantly planned by members of the Social and Eco Club under the guidance of Dr. Seema Chaudhary.
